The media has been reporting on a wave of Whooping Cough in Australia. Could someone please point me in the direction of an evidence based treatment protocol? Wondering if Ivermectin would be beneficial given its anti-inflammatory properties.
Hi yellowdaisy
Thanks very much for your question. I wasn’t able to find any info on the FLCCC website when I searched for Whooping Cough or Pertussis, but there are search results for cough (Click on the word cough it’s a link.) There are two MyStories where folks with their testimonials have shared that Ivermectin has helped with persistent coughs, but this is anecdotal.
Searching for Ivermectin and Whooping Cough treatment returns mainly vaccination as the best protection, and antibiotics to treat for example Whooping cough (pertussis) - symptoms, treatment and prevention | healthdirect. I couldn’t find anything study that offer a positive on Ivermectin and Whooping Cough.

I’ll put your question up on the Professional Group, and hopefully someone has a suggestion.
Hope this helps. And as always, anyone have any thoughts, please feel free to add them to the discussion.
Whopping Cough is caused by bacteria, so antibiotic treatment is mentioned by CDC.
Lauricidin could disrupt bacteria biofilms, but I am not aware of clinical trials for specific disease treatments.
