Jenna McCarthy explores whether the benefits of sunscreen were exaggerated, while the risks of using chemicals on our skin were largely ignored, in her latest ‘Here’s a Thought’ (link below).
We would love to hear your take on the sunscreen debate and we want to hear how you stay safe in the sun.
Staying safe usually involves daily use of methylsulfonylmethane. I turn off inflammation of burn with Pepto bismuth (bismuth salicylate). Berberine bath helps (overlay berberine.png on the melanin.png structure - using powerpoint etc.) - align the oxygen groups and rings. Niacinamide in bath + drops of (iodine)/iodide (I-) works as well. Intermittent niacin allows skin perfusion (requires ‘flushing’ PGD2 release - again you will flush/turn very red). Regards
