Wednesday Webinar: Lyme Disease: The Hidden Battle with Lyme Co-Infections

This week has flown by. It’s Wednesday webinar time already.

It’s part two of Lyme Disease: The Hidden Battle with Lyme Co-Infections.

Lyme disease is rarely a solo infection. Many patients battle multiple pathogens at once—most commonly Bartonella and Babesia. So how do these stealth infections complicate recovery, and why are they so often missed?

As part of IMA’s commitment to tackling chronic disease, this week’s webinar explores one of the most persistent and misunderstood conditions today. Join IMA Senior Fellow Dr. JP Saleeby for a conversation with Dr. Tom Moorcroft and Chris Jackman, FNP, as they uncover the hidden battle with Lyme co-infections. Learn how Bartonella and Babesia differ from Lyme, why they evade detection, and what today’s practitioners are doing to improve testing and treatment strategies. If you’re new to this world—or struggling with chronic symptoms—this episode is for you.

I’m looking forward to this! I was probably infected at age 7, and was diagnosed at around 65. It’s been a rough ride. I have primary immunodeficiency, and I think that left me wide open to get Lyme. Everyone in the family was bitten by ticks because we had property in the country. I was the only one to get sick. Everyone gets EBV, and I got it at age 20 and it became chronic and I was sick for about 25 years. Probably because of the immunodeficiency. And I have hEDS. My immunologist said many of his patients have all of these, there is a genetic link, but it hasn’t been found yet.

:+1: Thanks for this note, elizabathh. Lyme is a real life interrupter for so many. Hope the webinar provides answers.
