Here was a note from her about the piano:

"This piano was treasured by my late husband, who passed away last year. He was an avid and passionate pianist, and music played a deeply enriching role in both his life and our home. Parting with this instrument has not been easy, but I know he would have wanted it to be used and appreciated, rather than sitting in storage. I see this as a way of honoring his memory by passing along the joy and comfort that this piano brought into our lives to someone who will continue that legacy.

I sincerely appreciate your willingness to give it a new home. I had previously explored local options for donating the piano, but space constraints made it difficult to find a suitable match. I’m very pleased to know it will now be going to an environment where it will be cared for, respected, maintained, and put to good use.

I’m relocating to France in two weeks. As regards the piano, I don’t feel right selling it that is why I’m gifting it out to honor my late husband, which is why I’m offering it as a gift rather than leaving it behind in an empty house or selling it.

The piano is currently stored in a climate-controlled facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. The movers managing my relocation are also overseeing its storage. I can share their contact details so you can arrange delivery directly with them. They offer reasonable rates, but please note that I won’t be covering the delivery cost.

I completely understand your concern about delivery cost. Let me inform you, when I paid for the storage of the piano with the movers, the movers extended a significant discount based on the agreement that they would handle final delivery too. So this made the overall cost quite reasonable.

Feel free to contact the moving company directly for an exact quote. Let me know if you’d like their information, and I’ll be happy to send it over."

Unless given to an orphanage, jail or something similar, it’s better to sell it and give it to the poor for the love of God. He’ll repay you and your husband 100 fold!

While I don’t have a home for your beautiful piano and hope it finds a wonderful home soon-- I DO collect sheet music of all styles. Should you have any of your husband’s old songbooks, collections, etc… please consider giving those a home too-- with me! I am happy to help pay for postage

Just tidied up the additional html. A little cumbersome this Buddy Boss, but there are plans to move to a new platform. Hopefully easier for everyone to edit.
