Uptick in recurrent UTI's among women

Anecdotally, I feel as though I’m seeing a big uptick in women with recurrent UTI’s. Generally, it seems that these are post-menopausal-aged women and MANY of them are on HRT. Many of them have having cx-positive infections but then can’t seem to eradicate the sx, even when sensitivity reports are being used to guide treatment. They may resolve for a week or two, but then are right back in the office, symptomatic. Some with concomitant BV.

I’ve started paying attention to their COVID jab status and it does seem that most of these women have had at least one round of shots. And HRT.

Has anyone seen correlation with the COVID jabs and recurrent UTI’s?

Thanks!
