🏛️ Upcoming ACIP Hearing: What’s on the Table for Vaccine Policy?

I thought I would share information about the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) it’s a two-day public meeting on June 25–26, 2025, to review and vote on key vaccine updates.

Here’s what’s being discussed:

COVID-19 Vaccines

Latest updates on effectiveness, safety, and vaccine coverage

Revised implementation strategies

Evidence-based recommendations for future rollout

RSV Vaccines (Maternal & Pediatric)

Real-world data on uptake and effectiveness of maternal RSV vaccines and nirsevimab

Clinical guidance and proposed recommendations for clesrovimab

Updates to the Vaccines for Children (VFC) resolution

:syringe: Other Topics on Day 2

Influenza vaccine guidance, including thimerosal-containing options

Chikungunya vaccine use in U.S. territories

Anthrax and MMRV vaccine recommendations for younger children

:speaking_head: Public comment is scheduled for both days, followed by votes on key items.

:round_pushpin: If you’re following U.S. vaccine policy—or want to voice your perspective—this is a critical time to tune in and engage.

I have added how you can pose a question in the comments.

If you do add a question, why not share it here too.
