Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4 at 7 PM ET, for a special webinar hosted by Dr. Ryan Cole, featuring Dr. Kim Milhoan, a pediatric anesthesiologist, and Dr. Katherine Welch, a pediatrician and global health and human rights advocate. They’ll be diving into the medical and ethical concerns surrounding gender transition procedures in children and teens.
How are these decisions being made?
What are the short- and long-term effects?
What role should parents, doctors, and society play?

In terms of getting help with this for both parents, as well as our beautiful children dealing with all the aspects of this topic, there is a fantastic organization that is looking at the whole person - physical, mental and spiritual - called the Catholic Psych Institute, founded by a psychologist, Dr Greg Bottaro. He recognized that the current state of counseling and mental health is a mess, and has been for many decades, and wanted to create an organization that understands ALL aspects of what makes us human beings. His podcast, called Being Human, is grounded on this truth, and is a fantastic resource.
Specific to this issue, he recently recorded a two-part podcast with another therapist, Stephanie Winn, who has focused on gender issues in her practice and has become very alarmed at what is going on. She also has a regular podcast called You Must Be Some Kind of Therapist, that has many great episodes that help unpack much of the information about the current insanity of gender confusion that is affecting our kids so drastically in recent generations. I would highly suggest listening to both parts of their combined podcast, and to check out both of their individual podcasts/practices as they are a wealth of solid, relevant information.
