It’s pure sensationalism and fearmongering. And Dr. Varon says it exactly as it is. Have a read here: New Melatonin Study Is Anxiety Marketing, Not Medicine
The study making waves isn’t peer-reviewed, and its design doesn’t show that melatonin “causes” heart failure. It’s a retrospective look at patient charts, full of confounding factors that don’t account for the realities of insomnia, stress, chronic illness, or other key health issues.
When I read this press statement and Dr. Varon’s latest at Brownstone, reposted on our website here - Why the Healers Had to Rebel, I sometimes wonder if we should change our name to MMA instead of IMA. It’s a real fight and with our proven scientific analysis capability, deep clinical experience, truth and honesty, we really are a deadly adversary to sensationalistic mis and disinformation. It’s always a pleasure to see the truth stated so clearly.
