Starting a DPC—need advice

Good evening

I am a family nurse practitioner in Tupelo, MS and am anticipating starting my own direct primary care. I have hired a consulting firm to help with the process however, there’s many pieces of the puzzle they are asking me to be very clear on so that they can help better. I am very passionate about functional health and have worked 10 years in primary care. My practice will inevitably be integrative. My question is what services do I need to focus my attention. The consulting group is wanting me to specify if I am “primary care” or “alternative” care—hormones, peptides, long COVID, vaxx injury—the primary care of course would be more similar to a traditional family clinic or urgent care. I’m excited to offer both. Are any of you working or operating a DPC clinic? Do you have advice in regards to how I should fashion my approach and determine services I might offer??

Please and thank you

A great question, I am sure someone will join, however in the meantime, we did a webinar around this topic a while ago that you may like to watch How to Start a Private Medical Practice
