Hello, I would like to share a review of the question from the perspective of blood transfusion haemovigilance and also the risk of secondary complications in transplant recipients who received their organs from confirmed vaccine-deceased donors.
This has been going through various journals for more than one year, and it is not seeming to progress where it currently is parked (F1000 research). I hope this work is of value in gauging the risks from secondary exposure (I prefer this phrasing instead of shedding, as there is confusion b/c most people think of ‘viral shedding’) via bodily fluids. At the time of writing, there was only substantive data on exposure via breastmilk, blood transfusion and organ transplantation.
