sauna detoxing

What medical references can folks share on the effectiveness of Far Infrared Light (FIR) sauna detoxing vs. other forms of sauna detoxing (ex: Red Light)? Both are available and I’m unclear which removes toxins more effectively and/or gently. I’m also curious about the protocols for each (temperature, # minutes, # times/week). Thanks in advance for any insight you can share!!

Dr Mercola’s article has many medical references. https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2024/01/03/benefits-of-sauna-therapy.aspx. He recommends Near Infrared sauna as ideal. I have used Far Infrared sauna 3 times a weeks for six years. This reduced aluminium and mercury measured in testing. So perhaps the benefit of Near Infrared is marginal over Far Infrared? I could buy a portable Far Infrared sauna and use it more frequently than I would have if I had to go to a facility offering Near Infrared.

Both DrBeen and the FLCCC have a number of videos regarding the benefits of NIR/Red light therapy which will help with mitochondria and heat shock proteins. Methylene blue is also part of the mitochondria support mechanism. The sweet spot for NIR treatment is 10 minutes and multiple times per day. I made my own NIR board and use it prior to showering each day. Basically I am a vertical rotisserie center core. The individual bulbs are $100 each which is a lot cheaper than buying one of the sauna units.

I love the idea of making our own unit. Where does one find plans? And parts? Thanks!

What’s the possibility you can share the content as a PDF? I have a Mercola membership. Thanks!

I’m thinking about marketing a set of plans or even a kit that could be assembled. But mostly the plans. It was a pretty easy build. The bulbs you can get here: FireLight® Infrared Bulb | Precision-Crafted | SaunaSpace

And I see they are currently on sale.

I can collect & assemble things but not design a unit. Kudos to you for engineering this!
