Hi! I’m wondering if anyone has tried to prescribe or obtain the new mab that was just approved under EUA last week. Pemgarda (pemivibart). (No link so this doesn’t get held in a possible spam bucket.) I tested positive for Covid, right after I killed off most of my adaptive immune system with 2 grams of rituximab, but Infectious Disease doc on call says he can’t write for it because the EUA says it’s only for PrEP. Is that true or his he lacking … courage and honesty? DMs or replies here welcome; I will be staying connected.
My last bout (2/21), it took me just over a month to clear the virus (really - per antigen test, which is closer to a culture test than a PCR test, and on PCRs, CT threshold was still low). Doing my best - expect I need to follow the FLCCC protocol for ~4x longer than most patients if I can’t get Pemgarda (pemivibart). My insurance will cover almost anything - e.g. have covered 3 IVM Rx, but pharmacies all started balking. I emailed my main pharmacist to ask asked if the win/settlement of the ‘you are not a horse case’ has changed her mind. Looking for a courageous, honest MD interested in exploring writing for the mab. It has to be infused. I’ve worked with Soleo Infusions; waiting to hear back.
