Hi there

Just to mention, as our Forum grows, we’ll be getting more and more unsolicited posting by people who set up a new profile and post immediately.

We’re on the lookout for it all the time, and completely understand your frustration when this rubbish appears in your inbox.

Please do report it to us/me (with a link please) if you still see it up in the Forum after a day. Then you can know, we’ve missed it and your notification to us would be really helpful.

The same notification to us would be appreciated, please, if you see something that goes against creating a free and open town square here on the IMA forums.

For a couple of them I have clicked on the ellipsis “…” and reported them that way.

My wife has a website I had setup this past year and I was amazed at how quickly bots on the internet find things and start posting through feedback forms. I had to find plugins that would add layers of verification and that finally stopped the flood. My guess is they are automating the creation of accounts on this system and then posting.

Unfortunately there are people in all societies that are anarchists and antisocial. They don’t believe in following the rules of society for whatever reason. It is just part of life. It is annoying.
