December had Labral tear repair surgery. Was not to move very much for first 6 weeks after surgery. During followup visits complained of dark left leg swollen knee & foot and tingling toes. Dr. kept saying will get better once move more throughout recovery. 2 months later still issue finally convinced I needed for leg to be looked into as nothing changed. Ended up with blood clots- in groin, back of knee and calf. Started Xeralto end of February. Seeing a vascular surgeon have knee high compression socks still have swollen knee, acky calf and tingling toes. Not to same extreme but not gone. Had COVID 2 times got the vaccine through the first booster. Could this have anything to do with it- possibly? Believe I need to see another Dr to get a second opinion. A bit gun shy as my first Dr completely ignored my issue. Wondering if I am being ignored with current Dr.
I am not a physician, but I have seen this on several occasions with patients. Blood clots were ruled out and often the symptoms come and go and can be in one or both legs. Doctors are “baffled”. I was able to find a few articles about post-injection lymphedema. One is attached, but there are more out there. It might be worth discussing with your provider.
