My Patients Used to Be Gung-Ho About the Covid Vaccine. What Changed?

There are so many incredibly obnoxious and arrogant lines in that op ed! But this line is very interesting:

*“I can feel their own slight sense of surprise that there is no specific issue causing their discomfort about getting the updated Covid vaccine. It’s as though they have a communal case of the heebie-jeebies.” *

Could it be that people know deep down something went wrong? That these shots don’t work, or worse, may be hurting them or the people they love? Do they sense, deep down, something isn’t right? “Heebie-jeebies” - or perhaps waking up to their own instinct, gut sense, whatever you want to call it.

Maybe I am being too optimistic here, but this gives me some hope!
