Been searching this site for hours, coughing and spluttering from acute respiratory infection. I have normie Aetna insurance, I have zero faith in them to keep me safe. I though by now the infrastructure would be point and click. Please help.

For my patients I suggest a nebulizer for what you have. Fill the nebulizer cup with saline then add 3 drops of iodine. Use the nebulizer for 15 minutes 3X daily until well

If the previous suggestions do not do the trick, you may have bacterial involvement and need an antibiotic such as Z pack, also known as Zithromax, which is the antibiotic azithromycin used to treat bacterial infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia.

Not sure if this is helpful. If you are in Northern VA, there is a functional medicine MD in Maryland who is all about underlying conditions & off-label uses of medication. She also sees patients remotely.

I hope you will follow up in this thread with what treatments you found & who was helpful.
