Hello, I have a friend whose daughter had lymes disease and was treated with multiple antibiotics. She currently has Gastric Paresis with nausea and sometimes vomiting. she has a doctor who is managing this . she is on IV TPN for sustinance. She had covid previously without being vaccinated. She is wheel chair bound due to pain and muscle wasting.. they want to do an operation to enlarge the stomach opening so she can eat. She has been gaslighted and one doctor placed functional neurologic disorder on her chart. She has seen many doctors for over 1 year. I am a nurse trying to help them. I think she may still have lymes and mabe coinfections. I watched Dr. Saleeby on last nights webinar. I have given them information on Dr. Saleeby’s practise, Dr Tom Moorcrofts info, the Global Lyme Alliance.I wondered if you doctors could explain how this might still be lyme disease related with the Gastric Paresis diagnoses or is there another avenue to pursue. We live in Pennsylvania. I would appreciate any suggestions, and direction in how to help them. Thank you, Marcia RN
