My son had covid in April 2020. It was basically a “flu-like” illness”. For about a week. After that initial week he continued to have GI symptoms of nausea and was unable to eat much. To make a long story short, this went on for 9 months because no doc would see him in person. He ended up hospitalized with a nasogastric feeding tube - he was finally given a colonoscopy and found to have acute illeitis from a viral illness (covid)
He went through hell to say the very least.
He now has an extreme fear of getting sick. He has worked so hard to get where he is now ( in college in another state away from home) but still has PTSD
I am looking for a practitioner who can help him overcome this phobia so he can continue to live a full life
