In case you missed it, our News Release about this fantastic news can be found here - In Case You Missed It: IMA Senior Fellow Dr. Elizabeth Mumper Appointed to HHS Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee

Here’s a quick bit about why the HHS IACC is so important -
The HHS Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) coordinates U.S. federal efforts on autism spectrum disorder (ASD), advising HHS on research, services, and policy priorities.

It develops a national strategic plan for autism, guides federal funding, and monitors activities across agencies like NIH, CDC, and Education to avoid duplication.
Members include federal reps and public stakeholders like autistic adults and advocates.

The IACC influences billions in funding toward causes, screening, interventions, and lifelong supports, while serving as a public forum for community input.

It’s just so good for our kids, for all of us. Just brilliant. Your thoughts?

Another great selection by HHS supporting the credibility and the competency of the members of the IMA medical community.
