I think voice should also be given to those who think the term “lab leak” is a limited hangout (to which the Baric leaks, while interesting, are a contributor). That school of thought asserts that the virus, as a bioweapon, was released into the public at various times and places (the Wuhan games, Italy, etc.). I’m somewhat agnostic on this, but interesting evidence for it does exist, and because of the radically different light it casts on the whole affair, I think it should be kept in mind going forward in evaluating the “radical transparency” that we are supposed to be seeing.
