Dear all,
I hope that I am not embarrassing anyone here, but I have been in discussion with others about creating a larger output which will be a compendium of evidence based nutraceuticals and herbal products to ‘replace’ common pharmaceuticals.
Drs. Saleeby and Karman are aware of this. The intention is to move through the top chronic diseases by prevalence and summarize the herbal options available to treat, comparing them with their pharmaceutical alternative in terms of effect sizes. So far we have a good summary for the treatment of hypertension, which is the most prevalent chronic disease (in Alberta, Canada). This complements and extends Dr. Marik and the FLCCC’s previous and current work on treating other ubiquitous chronic diseases: cancer, diabetes, dementia, and depression so far.
