Has anyone heard of Hashimotos thyroiditis worsening after Covid 19 vaccination? Such as out of control TSH that cannot be controlled even with high amts of T4. What other treatment can be done to control the TSH?
I have seen some articles saying the thyroid may be affected. Just wondering what others have experienced or heard.
There is a known connection between vaccines and Covid itself, causing autoimmune flares. Not sure of your background but you might refer to a Functional Medicine provider. It’s possible that acupuncture may help regulate as well.

Covid vaccination set off a lot of different autoimmune issues in nurses I know. Was a vaccine recently received? If not recent, need to check other factors such as food sensitivities, stress, toxins, etc. If you aren’t converting the T4 med well, the thyroid will still struggle. May need some digestive support.
