“Fueling the Fight: Your Best Nutrition Tips for Cancer Care”

“Nutrition is more than just a supportive measure during cancer treatment, it’s a powerful ally.”

That line from Senior Fellow, Dr. Kristina Carman, in her free ´Cancer Nutrition Guide´ really stood out, nutrition isn’t afterthought; it’s part of the treatment strategy.

And yet, I hear it time and again, doctors telling people that are diagnosed with cancer that dieting will have absolutely no impact on their recovery or on improving their treatments.

I’d love to hear from you:

:tomato: What cancer nutrition tips do you have that have helped people in your life with cancer?

Any go-to recipes, snacks, or routines that boosted energy, eased side effects, or just made meals feel manageable?

Here is Dr. Carmanś latest free guide for you to download and share.

Chris Wark from Chris Beat Cancer is an incredible resource. Chris is a 14 year cancer survivor from stage 3C colon cancer who had surgery but refused chemo after he was offered a sloppy Joe as his first meal after surgery. He has his program Square One available o line for free right now. I purchased his program when our daughter was diagnosed with Stage 3C rectal cancer in 2019. Here’s the link to his Module 2 on diet and nutrition. https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsn188.keap-link008.com%2Fv2%2Fclick%2F68b9d2a48047253258d16eda6e55ab6b%2FeJyNUE1rwkAQ_S9zTkwU16R7ExEJsR5KPZftZsSlyWS7OxFE8t87fuCphV7fe_M-5gKMZIirBjREmpYlJBDQOu-QeNUTG3sj1SJXefmSQOvoaxP6wYO-_Hb85K_odFaookiAzx5F8_62XNXVbvOxrXa1aL0JkvIvo3muFkqpp9X6dVltYRz_9MbO8fok9hE0hwGvsxon03gfWtEfmX3UWRa_B2nRE07sMbj4iYatIYthYvsu6-ap9HLpHUobhzxLT10mAcZ7pObxohrPoA-mjTj-ADeUboU%3D&data=05%7C02%7C%7C711f454baef943c9737708dded480967%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C638927615830358658%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=OVk4FRjbSgvWKz1fH2h8uu0WSdHmGHvJppp6GBKYnIM%3D&reserved=0

Thanks fluteman, much obliged. Chris is well known to Helen and I. Thanks again for the note and the link.

Thanks for posting this reminder about the availability of Dr. Carmen’s nutrition guide. However, to download it seems to require also downloading an unwanted PDF program! At least that is what your confusing prompts for downloading seem to be requiring. I already have a pdf app that I like on my desktop and do not want it interacting with another similar app that may be incompatible with each other. I figure IMA is being well intentioned and being proactive by making this app available for some readers who do not have a good PDF app. What I’d rather have is a process that allows me to download your guides (already in pdf form) that I could download using my own app! I do not need another PDF app being simultaneously downloaded. I guess I will have to find another way to transfer this guide to my pc.

Hi AaronAF - you definitely don’t need to download another .pdf app.

Here’s is the download link: https://imahealth.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/ima-cancer-nutrition-guide.pdf.

If you click the link it should hopefully open the full guide in another tab in your browser. Then there’s a download option, and download the guide.

Open your .pdf app, then in that app open the doc.

Please know there is no “tech” from our side needing you to download another (or our preferred) .pdf app.

Please message me if you have any issues. Happy to help you download and of course share with anyone you think will benefit.
