HELP!! My daughter is going to be starting clinical here soon. And although the school does not require the Covid vax, they are now asking for an exemption form (medical or religious) for the hospitals she will be at. I really thought we were past all this nonsense. Why can’t no I’m not interested in what you’re selling be enough. Can anyone help with this?

I would dig into the form they need. Do they provide the form? Can you get your hands on it? What does it ask for exactly? Who needs to sign it, especially if they will also accept a religious exemption? There are 45 states and Washington D.C. that grant religious exemptions
for people who have religious objections to immunizations. Currently, 15
states allow philosophical exemptions for children of parents who object
to immunizations because of personal, moral or other beliefs, so this should apply to adults as well.

Hospitals are more likely to give exemption to an employee than a student doing clinical. I would drive to middle of nowhere, to a small private pharmacy. Offer $$. Got to get creative.
Do both, medical and religious. You can always say he had one covid shot and had anaphlaxis from it. They never check these details.

Where are you located and more to the point, where is your daughter going to school (State). I presume that your family doctor is not supportive of writing an exemption. If you are talking about the state of Pennsylvania, I could offer my services. (send me a private message). Future fertility concerns would be my first medical criteria. Depending upon her history and family history there may be more. Others have suggested getting a hold of the various forms from the various hospitals hosting her potential clinical rotations.

As a travel nurse, I have to apply for an exemption for each facility I work. Had to apply for 5 in past two years and each one was approved, including Florida, Pennsylvania and even now New York. The facility should have a form they want filled out, one for medical and one for religious. A medical will need a provider to sign. I have a very strong religious objection so was able to go the religious exemption route. If you have a strong religious opposition, I would go that route. Some facilities/states allow for personal belief objections. It should state on form but be careful not to go too much into how bad the vaccines are, these people still believe in them. I went mainly with my unbelief in unnatural immunity. Good luck.

My HMO made it difficult to get an exemption by any means, but since the county health department got rid of the covid requirement for healthcare workers, it is no longer a requirement. Staff can sign a simple form every year just like or the flu vaccine stating they don’t want it.
