I like to use FullScript. You need a provider to make you an account. That is the only drawback, but all of the supplements are vetted for you with different price points. I use Carolina Holistic Medicine as my provider who gives me access to Fullscript.
Fullscript has been the trusted spot for supplements “prescribed” by a provider.. It is usually cheaper than amazon, as the practitioner gets 25% off then passes whatever discount on to the patient they decide. I have a practitioner account as an RN, so any advanced practice practitioner could have their own account. Wellevate is another platform that works the same way. Some people worry about amazon for ordering because of temperature control mysteries, but I think if the “store” you are ordering from on amazon is the brand you’re buying you are pretty safe. Whole Foods has reputable brands or you can order directly from the companies that you trust. I like Integrative therapeutics, Thorne, metagenics, Life Extension, Pure encapsulations, Gaia, Designs for Health all good brands. I try to avoid these inactive ingredients if possible: silicone dioxide, crosscarmellose sodium, polyethylene glycol, soy, corn starch, natural flavors and magnesium stearate if possible.
