This isn’t the first antiquated notification message I’ve received on IMA Forums. What do you suppose is the cause of this?

Hi dickatlee - we’ve had some long term issues with getting our emailing system working to a point where we’re not getting blocked by the the big mail distributors, and the forum notifications are thus significantly impacted as well. It’s probable that there’s a forum backlog, that’s now finding it’s way to the surface. Apologies for this. I’ll ask if this backlog can be found and deleted as there is no really reason for old notifications to be sent. The tech team may also have been testing. But I’ll try get the backlog deleted anyway.

We’re hopeful of it returning to normal, but there’s so much work involved to get the mailing IP passed the “censors” who react to the mildest spam complaint. It’s tough, but we’ll get there.
