Cardiovascular issues from intermittent fasting on news

Good morning. This is the second time this week I have seen a segment saying that intermittent fasting causes a higher risk of cardiovascular issues. Is Big Pharma trying to protect its revenue from weight loss drugs?

Whatever the ADA, AHA, CDC, FDA, NIH, WHO or your local public health department says, do the opposite. If the mainstream is demonizing it, it probably works and is good for you. #NoAmnesty

Jeffrey Tuckey highlighted an article from Dr. Jason Fung rebutting the anti-IF research:

Dr. Fung is the man when it comes to fasting. He’s literally written the book (The Complete Guide to Fasting).

I also follow Dr. Ken Berry (book: Lies My Doctor Told Me) who takes great joy in debunking these types of claims. This “study” has not been reviewed, was just a poster at a conference, but it was promoted by the AHA (American Heart Association) which is all in on pushing high carb foods and drugs to those with health conditions.
