Chemistry and Biological Activities of Ivermectin 1, Ali, Rashid, Ul Islam, Shahid - Amazon.com
I am about to pull the trigger on this book, was curious if ANYONE out there has read it yet? My undergrad majors were chemistry and biology so I still geek out on this stuff, but I would think a clinician out there has had to have heard of this book.
An update. Our Oldest spent the weekend at a high school wrestling tournament which he won (always more fun) and on Tuesday I noticed he was getting stuffy and congested. Had him clean his nose with a nasal rinse. Woke up Wednesday full out head cold and post nasal sore throat. This is the stage where historically if we did not intervene with prednisone he would âLock upâ and spiral into several days of being bed ridden with asthma. I decided to finally give Ivermectin a go. He took 20 mg, quite a bit of a lower dose than .4/kg for his size but I wanted to be conservative. For the first time in his life he woke up the next day with a fairly clear nose, no advancement into the chest, clear chest sounds, no wheezing or tightness, and he wanted to practice that afternoon. My wife and I, all of us actually, are gob smacked. This clearly interrupted the inflammatory storm his body normally would produce with these viral upper respiratory colds. I put him on quercetin and zinc, he hung out and did homework Thursday and is going back to practice today. Truly this is a life changing drug for him. I was very worried about his college years and dream to wrestle at the Division 1 level with such extreme asthmatic reactions to viral induced colds. You canât avoid coming into contact with them. I think of the years of him struggling and battling with this and a simple and widely used medication from Japan was there this entire time. Incredible. As of now I do not plan to use it prophylactically as the cold season is coming down, but we will use betadine nasal spray after matches and gargles, which is what I have been using for four years now with nearly perfect results. Thank you to this website and the forum members.
We have seen in our family doing very well using Lauriciden to treat bacterial infection. Ivermectin covers the viral infection.

Thank you for this excellent report confirming what many of us are seeing in practice if only âanecdotallyâ. Congratulations for taking good care of your own health!
Good to know!
I wanted to report, as i had left lengthy dialogue on ivermectin on this blog, and my asthma/allergies that all is continuing to be not an issue, same as in my blog. Note- I am outdoors a lot- piddling in dirt, carpentry, walking, cleaning up woods, just all kinds of outside - I am not much on TV and such. I mentioned that nitrates have been the dominant cause of asthma for myself, or have been very much with all the pollen, mold, cats, dogs, etc in past. (all that in past, except single nitrate incident as I note below). I had this incident a week ago with a large club sandwich which contained many lunch meats- I ate it while working physical carpentry outside. I have maybe 3 of these sandwiches year, I consider them tasty but bad for my health. Nonetheless, the afternoon I ate the sandwich, and when I sent to bed I had very slight wheeze, and I knew it was the nitrates as I just am not wheezing or asthmatic in any way.
I went to sleep, did not take any med, and in morning it was all gone. So my detective work tells me to remain on my 2 proactive tablets of ivermectin .2mg/kg each week- take 1x then 48 hours later another 1x (have been on mostly for 4 years now). Note that I am more selective of meats- I more so eat bean cakes on a salad, a little organic turkey sliced, fish often salmon, tuna, eggs, etc. Cheeses not so much (they have large amount nitrate, unless organic- but organic cheese is pricy- that I have found- not easy to find at times). I eat lots of good quality organic or well cleaned veggies raw often, and fruits. So I am fussy on quality, and my sweet âbrideâ takes time to read labels, and stock well our home. (I once was in Weight Watchers 10 to 15 years ago, and we learned to stock our home well, and we dialogued with many other wonderful WW folks of all this. I think WW is not that name now.)
In the past I would get wheezing from nitrates many times a week- I was in pitiful condition- the wheezing impacted my energy, even my eyes burned then. With this recent incident it has been, beyond my memory, but Iâd say 6 months or more. Last time I had the club sandwich at another restaurant- last year- no asthma. So I am more hardy at this time, it seems.
I continue to take 1 allergy shot 1x a month, as I have had bad allergies since being allergic to my baby blanket (wool) in my âbaby bookâ, but those general lifetime of allergies seem to not be my issue any longer , but I continue to take the shot (my doc said it is now optional for me). I am blessed as we have many allergens of pollen, and mold in central Virginia, but I tend to not have issues, except for eyes sometimes itching if I am walking at night in woods and the pollen is very dominant- and that is like âasking for itâ. There is a crazy amount of pollen at night- one can see it on the iphone screen.
Again I am 72, have had issues over my lifetime, and I felt I am fortunate to have been introduced to ivermectin by IMA four years ago. I surmise some may be suffering mightily in the spring here on east coast of USA. So maybe a little nugget of my writing may help someone- asthma can be a beast. Even if you are my age, you may be able to tamp down asthma without hardful drugs- just take ivermectin.
**Others give Hope to me, ongoing, thank you. **I hope to give a thread of Hope to others, best I can.
(And I Hope HHS Kennedy has ârunning roomâ as I believe he is an ethical man, of talent, and is in a wonderful âstrike potentialâ position. Those "stinking 10,000 chemicals in our foods he speaks of when Europe only has 400 was quite a reveal. Kennedy I believe âhas my and your backâ, he cares for me and others. I will say many do not care if I, or my fellow man, dies. And if many in industry know the evil in these chemicals in our foods- they are criminals)
Thanks Tommy. so many people suffering with asthma/allergies. We donât have studies to prove your point at the moment, so we canât offer an IMA position, but your anecdotal evidence is always so appreciated. Thanks again. AndâŚanyone with similar stories, please do add them here ![]()
